Sculpture and Circular Economy:

Searching for coherence and constantly concerned by my environmental impact, I carve my sculptures in blocks of marble, granite and alabaster destined to be dumped. I often carve in old tombstones, forgotten stones or "waste'" blocks. Of course, this requires a very specific know-how, as these stones have suffered from time, knocks and frost... but it's an ethical, technical and aesthetic choice. # REUSE-REDUCE-RECYCLE

To my Fallen Angel,
You have lost your wings, and only have two shoulder blades left,
but you continue fighting and emerge full of strength.
Your muscles arched in this effort, gives you some sort of a masculine side.
But the elegance of your curves revive your feminine side.
The thematic of the Fallen Angel, in other words what makes us human, is at the heart of my work. And one of the characteristics that always fascinats me is duality or the contradictions inherent in who we are. At the same moment gods and ants, able to move mountains and intensely fragile.
